Sean Petrozzino Person Of Interest, Quad Amputee A ‘Dangerous Person Of Interest’ After Parents’ Deaths

Sean Petrozzino Person of Interest - Petrozzino, 30, is called a 'dangerous gun-toting person of interest' on Wednesday in the death of his parents in their east Orange County home.

Sean Petrozzino's a person of interest as declared by the county sheriff after the fatal shootings that caused his parents' deaths, the Orlando Sentinel reports.

The bodies of his parents, Nancy Petrozzino, 64 and Michael Petrozzino, 63 were found in their house Tuesday. The incident prompted a search for their son and his father's vehicle, a red Toyota Camry with Florida license plate 112VZY, which became missing after the shooting incident.

Jane Watrel, sheriff's spokesperson, clarified in a news conference Wednesday that Sean Petrozzino's a person of interest only and not a suspect for the shooting.

"We want him to get in here and talk to us so we can find out what happened, since he was apparently living with his parents," Watrel explained.

Sean Petrozzino, person of interest, can be identified as a quadruple amputee wearing prosthetic legs and lost both his hands. Deputies think he may be heading to Jupiter or Coral Springs in South Florida and was last seen Tuesday near a Wells Fargo ATM with a surveillance photo released Wednesday by homicide detectives. The exact location of the Wells Fargo ATM was undisclosed.

Watrel also added that he has a gun.

Nancy Petrozzino had been a second-grade teacher at Andover Elementary School in Curry Ford Road since 2007. The bodies of Sean Petrozzino's parents were discovered after the school principal called 911 when Mrs. Petrozzino did not come to work that day.

The mother-in-law of Sean Petrozzino, person of interest, Cathleen Horne, told Orlando Sentinel that he recently separated from his wife in Georgia and moved in with his parents. She recalled that Sean has always seemed to be a calm and peaceful person.

Sean Petrozzino, person of interest, has been a quadruple amputee when he battled an infection from meningitis at age 16 but his struggles was chronicled by South Florida Sun Sentinel in 2000 and was described as a "perky, silly, polite and philosophical beyond his 16 years".
