Julia Roberts' 2014 hasn't been among her busiest year, but the actress is always sure to keep busy, between work and her family life at her ranch in New Mexico. In a recent interview about her job as the face of beauty brand Lancôme, Julia Roberts' 2014 has seen the Oscar-winning actress admit to having taking a big risk in not following a common Hollywood trend: plastic surgery.
The only Julia Roberts' 2014 venture according to IMDb is made-for-television film "The Normal Heart," a role for which she got an Emmy nomination, along with a good portion of her fellow cast members, like Jim Parsons and Mark Ruffalo, Alfred Molina and Joe Mantello.
Although Julia Roberts' 2014 hasn't been that busy when it comes to releasing movies, she's definitely going around with her sponsorship deals - and in a recent interview, she talked about her venture as the face of Lancôme, and how she has managed to keep working in Hollywood in spite of not going through the knife.
"By Hollywood standards, I guess I've already taken a big risk in not having had a facelift," Roberts told You Magazine, "but I've told Lancôme that I want to be an ageing model - so they have to keep me for at least five more years until I'm over 50."
Roberts is now 45, and will be celebrating her 46 birthday on October 28 - and it's quite the feat to reach that age in Hollywood without going through cosmetic surgery, and much less looking as well as the "Erin Brokovich" star, who's been the face behind Lancome since 2009 and signed a 5 year extension to her contract in 2010 - and it seems she'll be the face of the cosmetic brand for a good time to come.
Julia Roberts 2014 come only a few weeks after Renée Zellweger's controversial new look, which is said to be a product of extensive plastic surgery, as the "Bridget Jones" star doesn't look much like audiences were used to back when she first made it big in Hollywood.
