Cobie Smulders is pregnant with her second child with husband Taran Killam, who will be the little brother or sister of 5 year-old daughter Shaelyn Cado Killam, who was born as Smulders was still starring in the CBSsitcom "How I Met Your Mother."
Now that Cobie Smulders is pregnant, it seems like a great time to remember that she's been taking it slow since her role as Canadian reporter Robin Scherbatsky ended in "How I Met Your Mother" last spring.
A representative of the actress, who turned 32 this year, was the one in charge of announcing that Cobie Smulders is pregnant. According to People Magazine, they got an exclusive confirmation from her rep that the beautiful actress was expecting her second child with Saturday Night Live husband Taran Killam.
The couple wed back in 2012 - they just recently celebrated their two-year wedding anniversary - in a ceremony that also featured Smulders' "How I Met Your Mother" co-stars Alyson Hannigan and Neil Patrick Harris, along with their children in a very family-oriented ceremony, according to a report by People Magazine at the time.
However, the fact that Cobie Smulders is pregnant with baby number two doesn't mean that she will not be appearing in anything else for a while - she's made a couple of appearances in "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." as Maria Hill, and has further appeared in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as the same character also in "The Avengers" and "Captain America: Winter Soldier", plus she's also set to be in "Avengers: Age of Ultron" next year.
However, it's safe to say that the fact that Cobie Smulders is pregnant will see her slowing down a bit, though the actress still has two films coming out next year - both of which are in post-production, which is to say that she's already done filming both "Age of Ultron" and "Results," will see her co-starring with Guy Pearce.
