Caling all young chefs! Thirteen-year-old culinary prodigy Buddy Oliver - son of celebrity chef Jamie Oliver - is taking the kitchen by storm with his first cookbook, "Let's Cook."
Aimed at inspiring young cooks and beginners, Let's Cook is a collection of easy, delicious, and fun recipes to give kids the skills necessary to be confident in the kitchen.
The young Oliver already has his own cooking show on YouTube called "Cooking Buddies," which has over seven million views and is being picked up by children's British public broadcasting network CBBC this summer. The book's release and the debut of the cooking show are scheduled to coincide on July 4.
Kid-friendly chapters in the cookbook include "After-School Bites," "I ï¸ Pasta," "Breakfast & Brunch," and "Skills for Life." Recipes are meant to be easy to follow and, of course, delicious. Kiddos will learn to cook things like pizza, meatballs, easy breakfast items, and desserts.
"I've had so much fun planning what to include, cooking up the recipes, and making sure they're nice and easy to follow," says Buddy Oliver.
His dad adds, "I'm super-proud of Buddy and the effort he's put into making this book - he's always enjoyed sharing how easy it is to give simple, tasty recipes a go, which is why his Cooking Buddies YouTube channel has been a success."
Pre-orders are not available for the book just yet, but we'll update this page with a link when Amazon begins accepting orders.
