Unless you've been living under a rock, you no doubt know that the greatest love affair of this decade - between pop megastar Taylor Swift and Kansas City Chiefs star tight end Travis Kelce - has been playing out under some very bright lights (Super Bowl LVIII, anyone?). Chiefs Head Coach Andy Reid dropped some deets on how Taylor managed to fit in with the team, telling Mike Florio and Chris Simms on NFL on NBC earlier this week, "She likes to cook, so she made the offensive linemen these homemade pop tarts."
If the fastest way to a man's heart is through his stomach, Reid's entire offensive line must be falling all over Swift. Sadly, Reid didn't receive one from Swift and noted that the offensive line definitely didn't share, either.
The Taylor Swift Pop-Tart revelation left the company in a tizzy. According to The Kansas City Star, Pop-Tarts took out a full-page ad saying, "We hear you have a Pop-Tarts pastry recipe. We're tortured not knowing more about this DIY delight. What's the filling? Does it have frosting? Do they have little holes?"
According to NBC Sports, if Taylor shares her recipe, Pop-Tarts will double a donation they have planned to Harvesters, which is a local Feeding America partner food bank. We'll let you know if she decides to share!
Swift's love for baking is well-documented, and this isn't the first time she's baked up some homemade treats for Kelce. Earlier in the season, Tay-Tay made homemade cinnamon rolls for his pre-game meal. Maybe we can get that recipe, too!
