Stephen Collins’ Child Abuse Rumors Grow As Alleged Los Angeles Victim Comes Out Against 7th Heaven Star

Stephen Collins' child abuse controversy first started earlier this month, after there was a leak of an audio of him talking to his 2012 therapist, where he confessed to having molested at least three underage girls. Now, the controversy surrounding the possibility of Stephen Collins' child abuse has grown, as an alleged victim has come out to the Los Angeles police saying that the actor had exposed himself to her in the early 80s.

Stephen Collins' child abuse accusations shocked the world earlier this month, especially considering the actor became famous worldwide by starring in the long-running family drama 7th Heaven, where he played a very correct pastor and patriarch who was constantly dealing with the inner troubles of his parish and family life.

Accusations of Stephen Collins' child abuse in the 70s and 80s come as a part of his long-running divorce proceedings from estranged wife, actress Faye Grant. In the court filings for the civil procedure, Grant included a recording of the actor confessing to child molestation years before: the audio was taken from a session with Collins' therapist back in 2012. According to Grant, when she discovered the truth about her husband, she decided to secretly record his therapy session to have proof later on. The New York Police Department is currently working on investigating Collins for the cases.

However, Grant released a statement saying she wasn't the one who leaked the audio to the press earlier in October. In it, Collins reportedly confesses to having molested young girls of ages around 11 and 13.

Things have gotten even more difficult for the actor, as the Stephen Collins child abuse accusations didn't stop with the tape: the Los Angeles Police Department confirmed last Wednesday that they had also opened an investigation against Collins, after a former victim, who was allegedly 13 when the action took place, came forward.

According to Fox News, Stephen Collins' child abuse accusations have caused the actor to lose roles in the upcoming film 'Ted 2,' as well as this season of Scandal. Several channels have also stopped airing 7th Heaven re-runs.
