Ellen DeGeneres and Portia De Rossi's baby rumors have been all over the press over the past few weeks, but it is only now that the couple has finally come out to speak out about them. While they're one of the most popular couples in Hollywood and it seems everyone would love to see them have a child together, Portia De Rossi's baby rumors are actually false, as she cleared up in the talk show hosted by her wife.

It seems that the possibility of Portia De Rossi's baby is a very exciting one for everyone around, but the actress has finally clarified that she and Ellen are not expecting to have children, nor are they planning to in the future. In a fun move, Ellen invited her wife to the talk show and said that, since she knew everything there was to know about Portia, she had asked her viewers to ask things to the actress instead - and, of course, people being as curious as they are, the first question on the line was regarding Portia De Rossi's baby.

It seems that everyone in the world - including the people around the couple - has been assuming that Portia De Rossi's baby rumors are actually fact. In The Ellen Show, the Portia told her wife that her brother (Ellen's brother-in-law, that is) had insinuated that he knew he was going to be an uncle; meanwhile, Ellen said that her own personal assistant, Craig, had asked her upfront if the rumors were based on reality.

The couple joked about the Portia De Rossi baby rumors for a bit, as De Rossi said "It would be so fun for everybody if we were," while Ellen responded "they want us to have a baby!" Finally, Portia denied the rumors and Ellen jokingly sighed in relief saying "'we're not? Good for me to know!"
