Gordon Ramsay Opens Up Another Restaurant in Asia: Is it Worth Going to?

Popular restaurants from the United States have been widely spread in Asia. One of these restaurants is owned by a famous chef named Gordon Ramsay. Recently, it was announced that his first-ever restaurant in the Philippines will be opened next year, featuring the chef's iconic dish on the menu. But the big question is: Is it worth going to?

The Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill at Newport World Resort (NWR) is expected to officially open its doors to the public in the second quarter of 2024. It aims to enhance the resort's excellent culinary options and is positioned to become one of NWR's largest eating locations. Guests can expect a carefully curated collection of famed rare breed steaks aside from grilled specialties and the freshest market seafood. This newly-opened restaurant takes great pride in offering Chef Gordon Ramsay's renowned Beef Wellington as an item on the menu.

Moreover, the Gordon Ramsay Restaurants group has demonstrated rapid expansion over a wide range of locations across the world, and following the rapid development of both companies in their respective industries, this partnership represents a significant turning point. Thus, due to its remarkable growth into the most comprehensive recreational destination in the country, the NWR is currently making history.

Reviews on Gordon Ramsay's Restaurant

Matt Abé, who serves as a co-chef Patron, is in charge of the kitchen at Restaurant Gordon Ramsay, which boasts the highest possible rating of three Michelin stars and is located in Chelsea as the flagship restaurant of the GR empire. The restaurants include an extensive range of dining styles, from informal to upscale, and their menus feature dishes such as Gordon Ramsay's classic beef Wellington, traditional fish and chips, and even bottomless pizza.

Based on a food review, they came for lunch during the weekday and ordered the seven-course Menu Prestige, which cost them £160 or around $200. It was reportedly much smaller and cozier than anticipated, with several tables around the edge of an extremely quiet, tight dining area. Still, the food critics were pleasantly surprised by how it turned out.

As mentioned, the lobster and langoustine ravioli that's been on their menu in some form or another ever since they first opened their doors in 1998 is an outstanding dish that they enjoyed eating. At the end of the article, it was stated that the reviewers praised the cuisine, the wine, and the service they had at Restaurant Gordon Ramsay. They appreciated everything they ate as it demonstrated some deft culinary craftsmanship on their part.

Furthermore, another feedback from Mass Live mentioned that when you are fortunate enough to secure a seat at Ramsay's Kitchen, you must order the sticky toffee pudding for dessert and the giant lump crab cake appetizer. Without tax and tip, you will only spend $50 for two of the best meals you'll ever consume, all while having the opportunity to say that you dined at Gordon Ramsay's new restaurant in Boston.

But if you are prepared to go the extra mile, order the beef from Wellington. Certainly, your total bill will already come to just over $100 with just three goods. Accordingly, consuming a significant amount of the restaurant's menu undoubtedly obtains value for the money spent.

On the other hand, there is no mystical quality to the experience of dining at a restaurant owned by a celebrity chef. It's little more than a restaurant. Nevertheless, what it can do for you is allow you to gain insight into the mystique of the world-famous chefs and restaurants with Michelin stars that you watch on television. It brings a small portion of that universe to you and places it in front of you like a plate.
