A piece of advice from Meghan Markle will never hurt, especially about spending your holidays on a budget.
The holiday season is usually seen as a splurge of money because it is an occasion that requires a lot of food and decoration to liven up the Christmas spirit.
Although nothing comes for free in this world nowadays, holidays won't be stopped by budget constraints, as long as you have ideas popping in your head like the ones provided by Meghan.
Before she transitioned to being the Duchess of Sussex, BBC reported that she was an actress and blogger.
Travel and Leisure noted that Meghan has posted evergreens of advice and is spending the holidays on a budget. Not that she is considering the fact she is a part of the Royal Family, but online users from around the world have been considering her advice in her blog.
One of the pieces of advice from Meghan is potluck. Marie Claire shared that in Meghan's blog, she wrote that instead of becoming a host or yourself providing all the meals at a party, she noted that each of the attendees could bring a dish to the party.
Meghan added in her blog The Tig, as mentioned by The Sun, that making a dinner a bit fancy is all about silverware. She told her fans to purchase silver serving trays, platters, and nut bowls from flea markets for a much lower price.
It makes sense since distributing every meal's cost to your dear ones can lessen the burden on your wallets. Flea Markets also offers a variety of great buys. Just remember to sanitize them properly.

Christmas dinner will not be complete without cocktails, but they can be a little bit pricy. The Travel and Leisure mentioned the Duchess' favorite 'affordable' cocktail mix.
Marie Claire added that Meghan writes in her blog a tip about using Mosco Mule Mugs as low vases instead of drinking from them.
Travel and Leisure shared the Duchess' favorite, Almond Milk Spiced Holiday Cocktail recipe, that you can also concoct in the comforts of your home this coming Christmas Eve.

Procedure:
Blend all the ingredients except for the alcohol in a powerful blender. Transfer the blended mixture in a saucepan and heat at a truncated temperature, then add 4-6 oz of the alcohol into the pot depending on your taste. For each drink and garnish with a cinnamon stick.
Time and Leisure added that if preferred cold, skip the heating part and shake the mixture in a cocktail shaker. Then place them in champagne glasses with cinnamon or sugars on the rim.
Although Duchess Meghan Markle might not be able to do the mix for a long time now, her evergreen advice regarding spending the holidays on a budget will serve as one of her legacy to people, especially her fans.
