Champagne Showers, Yacht Parties: How the "Rich Kids of Instagram" Spent Their Spring Break

If you haven't read the "Rich Kids Of Instagram" account then you're probably living under a rock. They're a bunch of rich young adults chronicling their extravagant lifestyle one Instagram post at a time. And they've just shown us how the rich spend their spring break.

Daily Mail defined the members of this elite group as  "part of an 'elite global network' of travelers" and "Super-rich young guns document their extravagant lifestyles on Instagram...Snaps include wads of money, copious champagne, fast cars and Jacuzzis".

Members are mostly children of billionaires and business heirs and heiress who happen to post about all the extravagant things they do.

For the spring break, Business Insider tracked the activities of the opulent crowd. One notable post was from user @traviskripp who, instead of drinking champagne appears to be bathing someone with it. Posts about yacht parties are also very prolific from their websites.

While Some people enjoy their favorite food during spring break, the rich have their ways, too. Apparently they do love donuts as well. But it has to be sprinkled with 24-carat edible gold filled with crystal champagne jelly icing. It must have cost a lot of money but it's not a big deal for the rich.

And as if yachts are not enough to show the gap between the rich and the normal people, most of them also enjoy the convenience of private planes. And if normal people do take the train or the bus, occasionally the plane, the RKOI casually takes their private planes everywhere they wanted to. Because they can.

Although it appears that most of them were just bragging, Daily Mail reported  that a Turkish Royalty, Emir Bahadir, the 23-year old who is living the dream life said "I have always wanted to show people a life filled with the perfect balance of culture, luxury, and discipline, where having an exorbitant amount of wealth does not pre-conceive you to be an arrogant wasteful being".
