In just a few days, The Cupertino giant company is set to uncover its next generation iPads and line of iMacs which are expected to debut on Oct.16. The launching of the much-anticipated gadgets will happen at Apple's headquarters in Cupertino, California according to the reports.
iPad Air, the 6th generation iPad along with iPad Mini 3 and iMacs, which are powered by the newest OS X Yosemite will be released on the same date. As Apple is known with its tradition to launch their newest line of products in the last quarter every year, reports suggest that the gadgets will also be unveiled this month just like the first iPad, which was released Oct. 2013. Although it's not a much a hyped event just like the launching of iPhone 6 in September, the release of the newest iPad is expected to regain back Apple's slow pick up on sales on iPads the previous years.
iPad Air 2 has a 9.7 inch size and will be featuring an A8 chipset, a fully laminated display , and it's less 0.55 mm slimmer than its predecessor. There will be no vibration or mute button, but recessed volume controllers are designed on it. Users can also expect design changes with iPad Air 2'speaker grille, and relocated microphones.
Users can pick a gold color just like Apple's other recent launched devices- iPhone 5s, iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. Apple devices come in its all-time silver and gray variants. The new iPad Air is assumed to have 2GB RAM, and there will be 32, 64, and 128 GB versions. It is also expected to have Touch ID fingerprint button with full Apple Pay functionality. The 9.7-inch iPad will be featuring a FaceTime HD instead of the current front facing camera of the previous iPad, Michael Report says.
