Bachour Bakery & Bistro, a sweet and savory combo from Antonio Bachour, the 2016 James Beard Award semifinalist, and Henry Hane, a former Eating House chef/partner, will be opening in March.
The combination bakery of the two mastermind chef is located on the southwest corner of Brickwell World Plaza.
Hane is excited about working with Antonio Bachour, the former St. Regis Bal Harbour pastry chef, in Bachour Bakery & Bistro.
He said, "I feel there really isn't anyone in Miami of Antonio's caliber who has branched out and done something on their own. His technical skills are unparalleled. Miami had a huge void in this department. But not anymore!"
Bachour conveyed the same thought, "More and more national and international chefs are coming to Miami, but bakeries like this do not exist. I think a great pastry shop needs a pastry chef who has worked in Europe and can bring knowledge and technique that is similar to the great pastry chefs in Europe."
The menu on the sweet side includes Petit Gateaux ($5) a tiny chocolate cake, Verrines ($5), Tarts ($5) and loafs ($5). Pastries will also be on the menu ranging from $3-$5, according to Miami New Times.
On the savory side, the menu will consist of Morning grubs ranging from $9-$12, lunch salads of the range $13-$14 and sandwiches of the range $11-$15.
The restaurant will be open from Monday to Friday (7.00 a.m- 7.00 p.m). On Saturday and Sunday, it will be open from 7.00 a.m to 5.00 p.m. Bakery will serve Breakfast, lunch, early dinner and brunch on all weekends.
Karina Rivera, the sous chef, who is well experienced after her years of working with the Cancun and Los Cabos, Mexico and with Celebrity Cruise lines and also with Bachour will be helping the two renowned chefs in the kitchen.
