Nintendo Announces Coming Of Minecraft To Wii U

Nintendo has just announced that the game Minecraft will now be available in Wii U.  

The Japanese multinational company has recently unveiled that Minecraft, a sandbox video game will finally be arriving in the said console. The hit video game will be launching this coming December 17 at a price of $29.99.

It can be remembered that long before, Minecraft coming to Wii U has already been speculated. Finally, the long wait is finally over for gaming enthusiasts as Mojang's phenomenal game will now be experienced by Wii U users through Nintendo's eShop digital store.

According to some reliable sources, Minecraft: Wii U Edition will display some fresh features like TV play which allow the players to continue building worlds on the GamePad even though a shared TV is currently in use. The use of stylus is also among the rumor circulating on the Internet.

The Wii U Edition of Minecraft will also feature some of the popular current add-ons of the game such as Battle & Beasts Skin Pack, Battle & Beasts 2 Skin Pack, Natural Texture Pack, City Texture Pack, Fantasy Texture Pack and Festive Mash-up Pack.

An additional 16 add-ons will be available during the first day of release. Some of these add-ons will include themed skin packs for some popular platforms like The Simpson, Doctor Who, Star Wars, Mass Effect and Skyrim.

On the other hand, players can expect exclusive game contents to the latest Minecraft release. It was confirmed that Nintendo and Mojang are helping side by side in order to create new game contents which will be released in the near future.

The idea of Minecraft coming to Wii U was first heard when an age rating was displayed on the website for board PEGI. Even though the specific listing was removed later on, the speculation continued to circulate around the gaming world.
