Mat Franco America's Got Talent: The young magician is the first ever Magician to win America's Got Talent in Season 9, only yesterday. And how did he do it? Well, let's take a look.
Well, the secret with Mat Franco in America's Got Talent is that what kept him winning every time were not the tricks like you would think, it was him, his personality.
Mat Franco was a favorite of the judges because he has charisma that has brought him to America's Got Talent, but more importantly, has kept him in America's Got Talent and that is something.
You can have all the talent in the world, but that would mean nothing if you can't communicate and more importantly, entertain people. The same happens with every single art.
Talent is never the problem. If you just get online and start reading, watching and listening, you will realize that talent is everywhere and there are people who are capable of reducing you to every single emotion. It's remarkable, really. So, when you see all that you wonder why they aren't famous.
And the secret, or the lack of it, is that they have charisma. They have a certain something that charms people and the more people you charm, the better you will do in the industry.
Mat Franco got to charm America's Got Talent judges one by one, The Hollywood Life noted, "Tonight, Howie Mandel and Mel both talked about charisma. They talked about the tricks, but there's a lot of times where Mel B will say things like, 'forget the tricks. It's you.' To hear someone say that is great because magic isn't about the tricks - it's about the performance and it's about the entertainment."
That is very true and actually the great parallelism between Mat Franco winning America's Got Talent and going to Las Vegas to perform afterwards with the recent movie Now You See Me from last year in which four magicians show their talent and perform at Las Vegas as well, is remarkable.
We will have to see more of Mat Franco not only in America's Got Talent but now winning over the world.
But first one of Mat Franco's tricks that has a little story behind it, done in America's Got Talent. This guy is funny!
