News recently emerged that Tony Dovolandi was followed around by Scientologists because Leah Remini, who is an ex-member of The Church of Scientology was his dancing partner in DWTS.
As per Daily Mail, after leaving, she then wrote a book and made shocking claims about Tom Cruise and the church itself.
The Dancing with the Stars veteran then claimed that the members of the church followed him by car two years ago while he was still competing with Leah for the show's 17th season.
During his exclusive interview with TMZ, the 42 year old star stated that he was being stalked:
"She informed me a lot about Scientology, I mean, you want to read [her book] because it really opens your eyes to injustices being done. I know I was followed a few times. I think they try to find anything they can on a person and try to use it against them; they couldn't find anything on me because I'm a happily married dude. And I don't do anything wrong!"
When he was asked if being followed around made him scared, he then answered:
"No. I live in a free country. I'm from Kosovo."
A representative from the Church of Scientology then told the Page Six that it is another publicity stunt for her book.
"This is nuts. It never happened. Like we have said before, this is just another publicity stunt for her book."
As per ABC News, last October, 2014 Leah Remini openly shared her experience while under the Church of Scientology for the first time. She openly shared the backlash she faced from the church after Tom Cruise's wedding with Katie Holmes back in 2006.
In response to her book and claims, the Church of Scientology members send numerous documents, emails, and even phone calls to ABC which gave out statements regarding Leah Remini. The church called her a liar, rude, and embarrassing in her attempt to "rewrite the truth" in order for her to be able to sell her new book, which contains the church's secret.
