Shed Pounds With Dark Chocolate

Polyphenol-rich foods such as dark chocolate can help loose pounds compared to giving up bread.

There are many diets and  have been proven by different doctors to help shed pounds. But in different view Professor Tim Spector, of King' College London , said that there is no specific proof that diets like GI diet helps a healthy individual to slim down.

According to her, eating plans are more likely based on studies that has been done towards animals and  not humans. She said, it is changing the 'gut bacteria' that can help anyone to lose weight.

GI(glycaemic index) rating score is the foundation of most diet schedule for the last 30 years.  Based on GI theory, there are many different types of carbs and each can be graded on how fast the body can be converted into glucose. The faster the burn rate, the higher the index and the more rapid the rise in blood sugar that may trigger the rise of insulin which will may lead to obesity or diabetes.

A new study found out that how the body reacts with food is based on the 100 trillion of bacterial living in our colons. 800 volunteers that participated kept plans of eating and wore devices to monitor blood glucose levels.

Those people who ate the same foods and has the same GI scores had very different glucose responses. Some differences are caused by being different in age and weight.

All are different because of the 100 trillion bacteria living inside the colon wherein individuals only share less than 20 percent of microbes on average.

White rice is unhealthy because it lacks polyphenols unlike dark chocolate which have plenty of it and doesn't cause a glucose surge.

A game change will now be available for those millions who suffer from being overweight and are in high risk of diabetes.

Aside from avoiding all food intake that can be dangerous and can reduce fiber and diversity, using of breakthrough techniques of gene sequencing can accurately and cheaply identify the different patterns of microbes.
