Jessie J confirmed she unfollowed some of her fans to her Instagram account over their "nasty behaviour."
The 'Bang Bang' hit maker posted a lengthy message on her Instagram page, explaining why she decided to unfollow some of her fans, which she deemed as online bullies.
The 27 year old 'Do It Like a Dude' songstress who has 4.5 million followers explained to her fans by writing "I don't usually comment on this topic, but I know some of my fans will notice so I want to explain." She revealed she has already unfollowed "7/8 fan pages I was following on Instagram" over their "real nasty behavior."
She said her decision was based on the fact that she "despises any type of bullying." So, she decided not to follow anymore some of her fans after she noticed they are posting subsequent negative messages. Jessie J then insisted that she appreciates all of her followers "equally" but she doesn't "tolerate bullying."
At the end of her note, Jessie J asserted that she's not "throwing shade" at anybody but she's just "simply someone who wants to live in a supportive peaceful and kind world. So anything that hinders that, if I can do something to remove it I will."
Fans were quick to respond over Jessie J's note. Many of them praised her for taking a stand against online bullying and for promoting "positivity."
Meanwhile, Jessie J who had a forthright comment telling audience at a performance that she believes that the Australian people hate her is set to return as a judge at The Voice Australia in 2016.
According to news.com.au, a source from Nine confirmed to them that the British singer is already negotiating with them and is reportedly ready to sign a contract for the singing competition.
Jessie J hasn't commented yet about the reported ongoing negotiations.
