It has been a long wait for the sequel to the highly successful Ben Stiller comedy 'Zoolander,' but patient fans have finally been rewarded with the first official trailer!
Paramount Pictures has just unleashed the trailer for 'Zoolander 2,' which has just enough celebrity cameos to fill the front row of a fashion runway show.
The trailer doesn't just offer a hilarious glimpse at Derek Zoolander (Stiller) and Hansel (Owen Wilson), but it also features appearances from Benedict Cumberbatch as the hottest new male model named All and pop star Justin Bieber as he tries to get away from masked assassins.
The trailer opens a reintroduction of Derek Zoolander and his many looks, but it is revealed that he and Hansel are now "old" and "lame." "I guess fashion has changed," Hansel says as they are introduced to All (Cumberbatch), who seems to be neither male nor female. The scene cuts to a motorcycle-riding Interpol agent (Penelope Cruz), who is asking for his help. It turns out that several beautiful celebrities, including Justin Bieber, are being killed but not before taking a photo wearing Derek's signature look. Needless to say, Derek and Hansel are forced back into the world of high fashion.
The first official 'Zoolander 2' trailer also shows a barely recognizable Kristen Wiig as well as the amazing return of Jacobim Mugatu (Will Ferrell). There is a scene showing Derek and Hansel trying their hand at an action sequence, but the results are more hilarious than effective. When an Interpol agent questions whether they have the right man for the job, Penelope Cruz responds, "God help us all."
'Zoolander 2' also stars Christine Taylor, Billy Zane and Fred Armisen. There are celebrity cameos from Miley Cyrus, Demi Lovato, Ariana Grande, Kanye West as well as Kim Kardashian. The film is scheduled for release on February 12, 2016.
