McDonald’s Churros Reach South Korea, So Everyone Else Is Totally Jealous [VIDEO]

It seems like Asian fast food markets, particularly those in Japan and South Korea, always get the most interesting menu items out there, which have in the past included things as exotic as a Whopper-scented Burger King perfume in their Japanese franchise - and now, McDonald's churros in Psy's native country.

Last year, Kotaku reported that the chain's Japanese franchise had introduced the first-ever McDonald's churros to hit the market, the creatively named McChurro, which was launched in two different flavors, namely Cinnamon Sugar and Maple, though they were far from what's actually considered a churro in western civilization, with Brand Eating reporting they were "more like a Chinese-style fried breadstick."

According to Food Beast, the new McDonald's churros are definitely the more standard pastries from Spanish-speaking countries, fried deliciousness covered with little bits of cinnamon crystals and adorned by the distant tears of every American who'd love that to get added to the local all-day breakfast menu the chain now offers.

While it's unclear whether the McDonald's churros will ever reach America, the chain has in the past tried menu items or promotions oversees to see whether they become successful enough to bring them back home, so there's definite hope for the appearance of these delicious items, which at 1,500 ($1.30) are a more than affordable way to satisfy any sweet cravings during the day.

While the McDonald's churros are a peculiar addition to menu items, in the past the chain has introduced some seriously strange menu items and promotions in distant lands, which have included the Philippines' Double Down Hot Dog in KFC, which was basically a hot dog trapped inside two "buns" of fried chicken for the ultimate comfort food and cry for help after consuming probably the entire caloric intake for three days.

In any case, there are also some fun new ads in South Korea for the McDonald's churro - check out the promo below!
