Harry Shum, Jr., who's best known for his role as Mike Chang Jr. on FOX's hit musical series, "Glee," is engaged to longtime girlfriend, Shelby Rabara.
Us Weekly reported that the 31-year-old dancer quietly proposed to his girlfriend during a Hawaiian vacation last October. A source told Us Weekly that the couple has been dating for years and that they "are so great together."
Rabara is also a dancer and actress. She has appeared on several episodes of "Glee" as character Shoshandra in 2009 and 2010. She has also had small roles on NBC's "Community" and ABC Family's "Bunheads," as well.
Rabara is also a part of a crew of dancers on the web series "The LXD: The Legion of Extraordinary Dancers".
The couple recently moved in together after Shum Jr. purchased a million-dollar, three-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom home in the Hollywood Hills in January. A date for the upcoming nuptials has not yet been announced.
Shum Jr. has appeared in "Stomp the Yard," "You Got Served," and "Step Up 2: The Streets." He has also appeared alongside Rabara in "The LXD" and is currently working on a digital series, "Caper," in which he plays a broke super hero.
He told USA Today last month that on set he is considered a "wiz king."
"On set, I'm the go-to guy. 'Oh, the iPad is messed up - let's ask Harry,' If I wasn't [acting], I think I'd be in some kind of tech support," he confessed.
Thank you guys for the well wishes!!! Just have to figure out how to get rid of this third wheel…#muchlove pic.twitter.com/GMrSszDSHQ
