When Boredom Strikes, What Should You Do?

Boredom is usually felt by a person who does repetitive tasks day by day.

Le Monde, a French newspaper, had exposed that 30 percent of French workers are professionally exhausted. Exhaustion in the workplace comes from lack of goals or motivation that also causes boredom in doing the same thing over and over again during the whole day.

Job dullness can be a reason why a certain person can be depressed. But successful people give importance to having passion for their jobs even though society has already positioned a lot of highlighting on personal contentment through many things.

If you feel boredom towards your job for whatever reason a time to think of things that can refresh your interest again with your job will do the trick.. You can make small changes one at a time. It is said that those people who have an appetite for new information and has a positive can-do attitude are more likely to get bored.

Dr. Amy Wrzesniewski of Yale School of Management came up with a study on how a person can make valuable importance of their work during an uneasy situation. In her research, she studied on how an employee molds their interaction and relationship with co-workers to change the mindset towards work identity and job meaning.

She also shared the idea of 'job craftng', that can lead a person to change jobs as much as it increases the level of job satisfaction by finding the suited skills and interests. A new experience of work can be acquired by engaging to the work in a different way,  just dump the repetitive things and change it to some techniques that is very beneficial.

Not everyone wants a job just to be successful. Personality types of every people differ. Some are waiting for their calling or vocation, some are aiming for success and achievement or some just need their salaries
