Sam Smith: I Can Easily Change My Mind

Sam Smith has something to say with what he had said about taking a break.

After releasing the song "Writing's On the Wall" which is the new James Bond theme song that was a major success since it's the first James Bond theme song to hit number one in United Kingdom, Sam Smith was invited to guest on a popular TV show called "The Ellen Degeneres Show".

On November 6, on Ellen Degeneres Show, the singer-songwriter of "Writing's On the Wall" revealed that he's planning on taking a breaking from recording and producing music starting next year because as what he said, he needs to "Kiss some more boys". Sadly, the singer did not specify how long his break will take.

Sam Smith said that his songs are becoming too personal and that he needs to live his life. The artist also said that he wanted to focus on his love life and needs an inspiration to create stories, that way he can write about them and make better music, so basically he needs to kiss some more boys, he joked.

The news may have saddened a lot of fans, since they won't be hearing from him probably for a long time. The artist had also said that things could change, even if he already announced it to the world that he might possibly take a break, there are still chances that he'd change his mind. Taking a break was a recent decision, he said and that he changes his mind all the time, though he had kind of thought of taking a break a few months back ago.

Last May, Sam Smith had an operation to repair his damaged vocal cords. He even shared what he is going through saying that he feels sorry for himself and that glands felt like a tennis ball down his throat. He was silent for a few weeks while he was recovering from his operation that time.
