'The Originals' Ending Has Klaus and Elijah Killed? Joseph Morgan Spills Perfect Finale

We've seen the trending monster on television and how beautiful they are, yet deadly - Vampires. And if you're a fan of The Originals then you would know how hard it is to kill a vampire these days. Joseph Morgan, who plays Niklaus Mikaelson, says he knows the perfect ending.

All this romance, past loves and revenge can get a vampire thirstier than usual. Now, it's much more juicier as the war of the sire lines grows messier.

We've seen their family drama - Klaus had a one night stand with a werewolf turned hybrid named Hayley and has a daughter with her, Klaus betraying his brother and his trust, apparently retaliating and angering everybody else who is trying to help make things better. Yes, it's a normal day in the Mikaelson household. But probably the most emotional thread of the whole series is Klaus' relationship with his brother Elijah (played by Daniel Gillies).

Elijah, who loves his brother dearly, feels that Klaus has too many misdemeanors to count. Now, they're working together to survive - or rather not get killed. So, how hard is it to kill an original vampire?

Well, if you've seen The Vampire Diaries, you would know that the first weapon of choice was The White Oak Tree - the only wood that can kill an original. So, your store bought wooden stake just won't do. But then, in the last few seasons, The White Oak Tree was destroyed and the only remnants are the ashes. Do we assume somebody painstakingly collected the dust, one by one? That's not possible as Elijah and Klaus has made sure nothing will destroy them.

A seer seems to disagree. Apparently, there is one weapon that will damn them to death and it will be caused by a friend, a foe and family. Too bad the seer is dead though - as seen in Episode 4 of The Originals.

So what is the perfect ending?

Joseph Morgan thinks that the perfect ending to the whole series is for Elijah and Klaus to kill each other in a sword fight - reports EW.

That's a sad state of vampire affairs to have both Originals die. Catch The Originals on Thursday 9:00 PM ET on The CW.
