On Thursday, the campaign for one of the canididates President of the United States in the 2016 presidential election - Donald Trump, made a public and typically formal declaration regarding their purchase of slots for 60-second radio ads that will air in South Carolina, Iowa and New Hampshire.
Trump's campaign stated that the 60-second radio ads "valued at $300,000," fires up on radio stations starting tomorrow and run until the end of the month. "This ad buy is the first time the campaign has spent money on advertising,"
The 60-second radio ads, one narrated by an adult female and the other by the American real estate developer and television personality Donald Trump, do not take aggressive action against Trump's rivals - at least not by name. Instead, the 60-second radio ads capitalize on the status of Donald Trump as a political outsider.
As the woman stated, "Donald Trump is running for president because politicians are all talk and no action. They will never make the United States great again," "Our country is in deep trouble because let's face it, politicians are all talk and no action,"
And Donald Trump stated in the second radio ad, "The spots also highlight several of Trump's regular talking points, like building a wall on the border and negotiating the "greatest trade deals."
Donald Trump paid the radio ads as he dug into his own pockets, an act that may signal an increased seriousness of a political candidate. The Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has attempted to sell his self-funding campaign repeatedly on the campaign trail, but, did not previously burst out for advertising. Even the $300,000 going toward radio ads is an insignificant amount of money compared to the sums of money typically put forward for television ads.
The difference between the cost of radio and television ads is a considerable importance, and there's no sign of information that the campaign intends to expend money in television, or even in additional radio spots. However, the campaign of Donald Trump did not respond to requests for comment.
