Both Miley Cyrus and Selena Gomez became international superstars in their teens due to their time at Disney Channel, when Cyrus starred as the title character in "Hannah Montana" and Gomez as Alex Russo in "Wizards of Beverly Place" - but are they fighting now after both have grown to become two of the biggest pop stars in the world?
It was first reported a few days back that Miley Cyrus and Selena Gomez were feuding over a Halloween costume, of all things, as rumors claimed Cyrus' most recent outing as a pot-smoking Cinderella ("Cindersmelly," in the singer's words) had angered Gomez over being "disrespectful" to her Disney roots.
Now, different sources make varied claims about the next step in this Miley Cyrus and Selena Gomez feud, including how a source told Hollywood Life that the "Wrecking Ball" singer doesn't care that her costume bothered Justin Bieber's ex.
"Imagine if Miley started caring what others thought of her - then she wouldn't be Miley! And when it comes to Selena's thoughts, she couldn't care less! Selena means nothing to her and her thoughts don't steer Miley's day in any direction whatsoever," the anonymous weighed in on the Miley Cyrus and Selena Gomez feud. "In Miley's mind, Selena is below her in every way! Selena should mind her own business and should worry about other things than what Miley is or isn't doing!"
However, according to rumor-squashing website Gossip Cop, the Miley Cyrus and Selena Gomez feud never even happened in the first place, saying that Gomez never made any comments whatsoever on Miley's Halloween costume - which really rather makes sense, considering it's pretty silly to start a fight with someone you've known since childhood over a Cinderella costume, whatever the Disney princess might be smoking.
Christian Post reports that neither of the two pop stars has made any comments on the supposed feud, so it might be same to assume the Miley Cyrus and Selena Gomez story was completely fabricated.
