Was Khloe Kardashian faking her fertility issues?
During an appearance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" on Thursday, older sister Kim Kardashian revealed her sister avoided having children with Lamar Odom because she knew her marriage was not working, according to ABC News. She also admitted that Khole purposely stopped showing up to doctor's appointments and fertility treatments.
"For so long, everyone in our family was feeling really sad for Khloe thinking that she wasn't getting pregnant," Kim told Jimmy Kimmel. "And the whole time, she wasn't trying to and she was not showing up to these doctor's appointments behind our back on purpose and behind our backs because she knew [the marriage] wasn't working."
The new mother of seven-month-old North West said that despite the tabloids' focus on Khloe's visits to fertility clinics a couple years back, she was not trying to start a family.
"She knew it wasn't right and she knew she wasn't ready, so now we understand it and we understand her decisions, it's very clear," the "Keeping Up With The Kardashian" star revealed.
Khloe filed for divorce in December after four-years of marriage. She reportedly cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for separation. The two had a prenuptial agreement in place.
Kardashian was reportedly struggling with the relationship for months and tried using couples' therapy to mend their issues. Months before the announcement, Odom made headlines for alleged abuse of crack-cocaine, which reportedly caused him to disappear for several days in August 2013.
His most recent offense is a DUI arrest and several infidelity claims.
"Khloé has been very, very hurt by everything," a source told People magazine. "There is a lot about Lamar that she is just learning and if they have any chance of making this work, there is a lot they need to come to terms with."
