Amy Lee Of Evanescence Band Shares New Music Plans

After four years off the stage, the American rock band founded in Little Rock, Arkansas in 1995 - Evanescence, will come together for a short tour this November.

The Evanescence band headed by the singer and pianist Amy Lee and guitarist Ben Moody, rose to fame when its hit song 'Bring Me to Life,' from the Fallen album, went to the top of the music charts in the early 2000s, then followed by the band's five-time platinum album Open Door in 2006, and a self-titled gold-selling album in 2011.

Although the tour of the Evanescence will be done under the limitations of certain areas in the U.S. and in Japan, the fans of the group need not to be disheartened, for the reason that the lead singer and also an American singer-songwriter and classically trained pianist - Amy Lee, reveals in an interview that the band's tour may be more extensive next year.

Amy Lee, who already started a career writing film scores, and putting out a cover series, said that, "It will be good to see the fans again. I'm going to be keeping my eye open to us for more opportunities. Like probably next year."

Amy Lee, who also took part on numerous other musical projects, including Walt Disney Records' Nightmare Revisited, revealed that she at the present time is working on her own music, but she has nothing definite about the Evanescence band's future music plans.

Amy Lee said, "I don't know the detailed proposal with Evanescence. I don't have a newly received information or plans for new Evanescence, but new music for me, for sure."

In truth, there's just too much at that moment that time cannot erase for Lee, as she admits that the short reunion will be an exciting chance to explore her past.

However, as per Amy Lee's future plans, she said that, "The direct attention of it is just to show another side of myself again, aside from what individuals already know about me as the Evanescence lead singer. It's cool to be able to display what else I can do."
