While the world was shocked when Whitney Houston's only daughter was found unresponsive in her Georgia home's bathtub just the way her mother had three years back, it has been revealed that the events that ultimately led to Bobbi Kristina Brown's death weren't a surprise for her close family members, who were planning an intervention for the young heiress.

Pat Houston, Whitney's sister-in-law and the president of the Whitney Houston Estate, recently sat down to talk to Entertainment Tonight's Kevin Frazier about the events leading up to Bobbi Kristina Brown's death, and her revelations were devastating as she explained having to see her 21 year-old niece in this sort of state.

"When we really found out that Krissy was in trouble, we were really making plans to do something about it," Houston told the outlet months after Bobbi Kristina Brown's death, also saying that the family had planned to send the young reality star to rehab "but it came too late," as this happened in the days before Bobbi Kristina was found unconscious.

According to People Magazine, the family wasn't aware of the kind of hard drugs her niece was taking, as it was later revealed that Bobbi Kristina had cocaine and heroin in her system at the time she was found unresponsive and face down in her bathtub in late February.

It was also revealed that, last year, long before Bobbi Kristina Brown's death, Pat had asked for a restraining order against her niece's partner, Nick Gordon, who's currently being sued by the family over accusations of mistreating Bobby Brown's daughter.

TMZ reports that months after Bobbi Kristina's passing in late July, there's still awful news regarding her time in care, including how Taiwo Sobamowo, a woman who took care of the young star during her last days, was recently arrested in Georgia on charges of identity theft, as it turned out she wasn't a registered nurse in the first place.
