She's definitely not going to let anyone mess with her name. Nicki Minaj wants to clear up some things over the recent issue she's currently engaged with, which claimed that she allegedly made fun of a disabled person while attending a Halloween party event held at the 1 OAK, Las Vegas over the weekend.
Reports say that Minaj received a backlash on social media after posting one Instagram video, where she was seen holding a prop magic wand, pointing it down to a hotel corridor, where the said disabled person was sitting on a wheelchair or mobility scooter and ordered the person to "walk".
Though the video was removed not too long after Minaj uploaded it on her Instagram page, many were able to watch the video and began throwing their criticisms to Minaj, adding that what she did was offensive to the disabled community.
One fan sent her dismay on Twitter, writing "Nicki Minaj was making fun of a disabled woman. Like idk if that was supposed to be a costume or of her friends but she outta line." Another fan commented, "It's 1 thing for her to post that vid, it's another for her to continue to RT ppl clowning on that disabled person w/ her. Trash @NICKIMINAJ"
However, the 32-year old rapper, who arrived at the party sporting her revealing fairy godmother dress, was quick to explain her side and immediately denied the accusations thrown at her.
"Lol. That's NOT a disabled person and u know that. Are u that desperate for attention?" Minaj sent on Twitter in response to some of her haters. "Bitch, u knew. That's my friend in a scooter. Have a great day. I surely will."
While there were quick to judge Minaj by what they saw on the video, some fans were on the rapper's side, stating that she wasn't really mocking the person.
"For those of you saying she was picking on a disabled person it was her friend sheika so stop.. @NICKIMINAJ," one fan wrote. "Yall honestly think Nicki Minaj.. After all she's been though.. Would make fun of a disabled person." another fan added.
Though Minaj came out and already explained herself, some fans were still enraged about what happened, with one fan writing on Twitter "If your video was OBVIOUS, they why did you delete it off Instagram??? #B*tchUKnew."
Nicki Minaj on the other hand, has already stopped replying to the comments, instead she went on sharing more photos from her fans, who all dressed up to join her in celebrating the spooky-Halloween season.
