Actor Nathaniel Marston, best known for playing Michael McBain for six years on 'One Life to Live,' is reportedly recuperating in a hospital after he was injured in a car crash.
The 40 year old soap opera veteran is said to be in serious condition after he got involved in a car accident on the evening of Friday. He is believed to be suffering from a broken shoulder, nick and ribs.
Marston's mother, Elizabeth Jackson confirmed the news on Saturday evening through her Facebook page. The message reads, "Please pray for my son Nathaniel Marston.. He was in a car accident last night and is in intensive care on life support. Back and neck broken in several places. Other internal injuries. Please pray that he will recover and walk again."
Mrs Jackson then posted another message, dispelled the possible rumors that might emerge concerning her son's accident and asked fans to pray for her son's recovery. "Just spoke to highway patrol and tribal police.. In case rumor mill gets going. Nate was sober according to cops. Waiting to speak to Dr. please pray that Nate does not end up a paraplegic.. neck broken and fractured in neck vertebrae 3,4,5,6, and 7. Shoulder broken along with all ribs.Collapsed lung and pneumonia. Please please pray for him."
On Sunday morning, Mrs Jackson then shared a sobering news. "Spoke to Nates Dr. In all likelyhood if he lives he will be paralyzed from the neck down and will not breathe without a ventilator machine. Oh my God please give me strength."
Nathaniel appeared in 'One Life to Live,' he was also seen in 'As the World Turns,' 'Castle' and 'Blue Bloods.' Back in 2007, he was released from 'One Life to Live' after he was arrested for felony assault in Manhattan. Eventually, he pleaded guilty to misdemeanor resisting arrest and managed to complete three months of court mandated anger management, New York Post reported.
