Foo Fighters: Fans Freak Out After Band Puts Mystery Countdown On Website

On October 29, The Foo Fighters band posted an unknown countdown on their official website. Opinion is raging over the possibilities, but fans will have to wait almost a month to find out, as there were 24 days on the countdown.

If you click on the band's official website page, all you will see is a ticker that seems to be leading up to some kind of an event that will be unveiled on November 23, Monday.

The clock takes the center stage beneath a navy and white 'FF' emblem, since the usual content has disappeared.

There's some sort of a stone statue hidden to the left of the screen, as well as a blurry patterned wallpaper, that may easily be noticeable to the more beady-eyed among you.

The Foo Fighters were formed late in 2007 and were brought together because of the bands love of the music of the Foos.

Since everybody is left guessing what this could mean, speculations suggest that a new album or season of Foos documentary Sonic Highways is on the way.

It could very well simply be the momentous occasion of frontman Dave Grohl having his cast removed, but that will be a bit too anticlimactic by their standards.

Dave Grohl is an American rock musician, multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter, and producer who is best known as the former drummer for the grunge band Nirvana and the founder and frontman of the rock band Foo Fighters, of which he is the main songwriter, lead singer, and rhythm guitarist.

On June 12, 2015, Grohl fell from a concert stage in Gothenburg, Sweden during the second song of the Foo Fighters' set.

The band played without Grohl while he received medical attention, and Grohl then returned to the stage, sitting in a chair to perform the last two hours of the band's set while a medic tended to his leg.

After the concert, Grohl was flown to London for surgery, where doctors inserted six metal pins into his leg.

As a result of Grohl's injury, on June 16 the band announced it was cancelling all of its remaining European tour dates.

The Fool Fighters have already started creating a buzz and gained fame based on the sheer pedigree of the musicians involved.

Booking requests are already pouring in from all over the UK for this superb Foo Fighters Tribute Band.
