The New 'Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice' Rumor Is So Crazy, It Will Probably Give You A (Death)Stroke

There have been several rumors surrounding the plot of 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice,' and some have been outrageous enough to include General Zod growing flippers on his hands. Although the flipper rumor was proven to be false and just a prank on the press courtesy of actor Michael Shannon, a new fan theory is aiming to outdo just about everything you would expect in the new DC film.

The theory was published by Total Spoilers, which reads like a lengthy rambling of epic proportions. However, io9 was able to decipher the insane code and provided the much needed TL; DR.

According to the theory, Ben Affleck is not actually playing Bruce Wayne, but is actually Slade Wilson aka Deathstroke, who has once disguised himself as Batman in the comics universe.

What is the proof? The website claims that Ben Affleck's Batsuit resembles the one worn by Slade Wilson in 'Outsiders,' and even takes note of the line "Do you bleed?" being similar to Deathstroke's 'Injustice: Gods Among Us' catchphrase "I will make you bleed!" Also, the theory suggested that Jeremy Irons could be playing Deathstroke's butler instead of Alfred Pennyworth.

So who else isn't who they are supposed to be? Apparently, Jared Leto's The Joker in 'Suicide Squad' is actually Joseph-Gordon Levitt's John Blake from 'The Dark Knight Rises,' who was revealed to have 'Robin' as his middle name. The theory connects 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice' to the Christopher Nolan trilogy, so Christian Bale is still Bruce Wayne and John Blake went crazy while working with Deathstroke and turned himself into the tattooed Joker.

Finally, the theory concludes with the claim that the film's title only features a "V" instead of spelling out 'Batman Vs Superman' because the "V" stands for 'Dawn of Justice' being the fifth movie in the Nolan DC Universe. That means that Zack Snyder's latest film follows Chris Nolan's three Dark Knight movie and 'Man of Steel.'

At this point, the film would make more sense if General Zod does grow flippers on his hands.
