Could 'Thor: Ragnarok' Actually Be 'Hulk Vs Thor?' Mark Ruffalo Says The Marvel Heroes Will Definitely Fight

It has finally been confirmed: Mark Ruffalo will appear as Bruce Banner in the Marvel sequel 'Thor: Ragnarok,' which may feature The Hulk finding his way into Asgard. But how does this happen? How will the God of Thunder react? Will there be an epic battle between the two Avengers?

Mark Ruffalo seems to have a few ideas, as he told The New York Daily News about what he thinks could happen in the film.

"I don't really know that much about it, but I think it's going to be a buddy picture with Thor and Bruce Banner," Ruffalo admitted. "I think they'll probably fight. There's no doubt, everyone wants us to fight at one point."

The Marvel Cinematic Universe has already seen a short brawl between the Hulk and the Norse God in 'Avengers,' although there have been previous fights between the two Marvel heroes in animated features. Incidentally, Craig Kyle and Chris Yost have signed on to work on the script for 'Thor: Ragnarok,' so it wouldn't be a surprise if the film follows the premise of their animated film 'Hulk Vs Thor.'

So is the third movie about the Odinson a live-action adaptation of 'Hulk Vs Thor?' Mark Ruffalo declined to share more information about 'Thor: Ragnarok,' opting to say what everyone already knows.

"I know that it's about [the Norse legends of] 'Ragnarok,' or the end times in the Marvel universe as it pertains to Thor -- which seems to be quite the theme these days in movies," the actor said.

The father of three was happy to speak about his recent visit to the New York Comic-Con, where he managed to roam the floor unrecognized, thanks to a rubber mask.

"It was invigorating to go and participate at Comic-Con, to have my kids have that experience where I could be with them and isn't about selfies or me dealing with fans," Ruffalo said. "There's this kind of sweetness there that is nice, it's healthy."

'Thor: Ragnarok' is scheduled for release on July 28, 2017.
