'Game Of Thrones' Update: Is Sansa Stark Joining Jon Snow In The Battle Of The North Against Ramsey Bolton? [SPOILERS]

It seems like everyone has been busy talking about the death (and possible resurrection) of Jon Snow from the last 'Game of Thrones' season finale that another mystery has been overlooked. But what happened to Sansa Stark? Did she and the freshly-liberated Theon Greyjoy survive the fall from Winterfell?

Sansa Stark, who has been played with convincing sadness by Sophie Turner in the fifth season, has gone through a lot since being married off to Ramsey Bolton. Although she isn't one of the more popular characters on the show, Sansa still has an important role to play since she is the only known Stark to still be alive. After all, she is the only one who knows her brothers Bran and Rickon weren't killed by Theon and all of Westeros have given up on looking for her younger sister Arya.

But what role will Sansa Stark play in 'Game of Thrones' Season Six?

[SPOILERS AFTER THE VIDEO]

According to Watchers on the Wall, the eldest Stark girl could be major part of the Battle of Six Armies that is currently being filmed in Northern Ireland. Sophie Turner has been spotted in the same location as Kit Harington along the battlefield, which could mean that she could be representing the Starks in the battle.

In addition to Sansa Stark possibly finding the courage to march into battle, there have been speculations that Ramsey Bolton will not be giving up without a fight. According to Watchers on the Wall, the vile character will be bringing out two flayed bodies of known characters, which will be hung upside down on large burning crosses.

And since the wildling will be joining the fight, at least one giant will be in the battle as well. The filming includes a ball-on-a-stick stand-in, most possibly for Wun-Wun who had followed the wildlings to Castle Black in the last season.

Can Jon Snow and Sansa Stark defeat Ramsey Bolton with the help of the giants? The truth will be unveiled when 'Game of Thrones' Season Six finally airs on HBO next spring.
