Kristin Cavallari's is telling the truth about what she faked on the MTV series "The Hills".
While appearing on Friday's episode of Bethenny Frankel's show, "Bethenny," the reality star dished that many scenes from "Laguna Beach" and "The Hills" were, semi-scripted.
"I faked relationships, faked fights," Cavallari told Frankel. "I don't care anymore. I can tell you. At this point, it's been so many years."
The 26-year-old made her reality television debut in "Laguna Beach". The mother-of-one later replaced Lauren Conrad as the lead character on "The Hills" in 2009. The spinoff series ended after six seasons in 2010.
The shoe designer said both shows were "very much like soap operas."
"[On] Laguna Beach, they really just manipulated situations and put us in situations that we normally wouldn't have been in, or we'd have to film something that maybe happened a month ago or hasn't happened yet, stuff like that," she said. "When I decided to join 'The Hills', I knew exactly what I was getting into, I knew exactly the character they wanted me to be, so I said, 'Listen, I'm game. What do you want me to do?'"
Cavallari said her relationship with Brody Jenner, who was in a relationship with someone at the time, was an idea cooked up by the show's production team.
"Brody Jenner at the time was dating Jayde Nicole," she said. "I dated Brody when I was 18, right after Laguna Beach, actually, and that's it. And then on the show, on The Hills, they had us 'dating' for a few episodes. They pretended that him and Jayde broke up and I was dating Brody, and Jayde and I got into a huge fight because she saw us in a club. It wasn't real at all. They were together the entire time."
Despite all the drama displayed on television, Cavallari said she still speaks to Heidi Montag "all the time."
"[She] is one of the sweetest, nicest girls I think I've ever met," she said. "She has such a good heart, and I really mean that. I think she just got caught up in all the hype, which is easy to do. I mean, I get it. When I was 18, I probably got caught up in the hype a little bit, too. But she's still the same person inside."
Cavallari, is now married to NFL quarterback Jay Cutler announced she's pregnant with her second child.
