'Days of Our Lives' actor Casey Moss was arrested after trying to punch a bartender at a hotel bar in suburban Phoenix.
The 21 year old actor is currently facing charges on assault, misconduct and resisting arrest after trying to hurt a staff in a hotel bar on Monday evening. Scottsdale police told the Associated Press that police were called at the bar at the W Scottsdale Hotel after midnight, reporting that the actor was intoxicated and attempted to punch a bartender after the mixer refused to serve him another drink.
A bouncer from the bar reportedly tackled the actor after he tried to make a scene in the bar. When police arrived in the scene, they reportedly took him down after he allegedly fought back an officer and refused arrest. Once he was handcuffed he reportedly identified himself by yelling, "I'm Casey Moss, and I'm an actor on Days of Our Lives!"
Moss was transported to Scottsdale Jail but released on Tuesday. He is scheduled for arraignment on Nov. 2 according to Scottsdale city legal records, as per Post Bulletin.
Casey plays JJ Deveraux on the long-running soap, 'Days of Our Lives.' Apparently he was in town alongside his co-stars for a book signing at a Tempe bookstore for the celebration of the NBC show's 50th anniversary.
Moss and the show haven't released any comments about the incident yet.
Recently a public figure was also arrested after getting involved in a drunken brawl. Manu Bennett, who is known for playing the character of villains was at the Alamo City Comic Con, but was asked to leave the party when they noticed him looking intoxicated.
Before making his way out he reportedly punched a fellow guest in the face. He was then arrested for the incident and was later released after he paid the bail of $1,600.
