Pumpkin Spice Latte season is still not over for those who wait around for the delicious treat all year long, but in 2015 the company responsible for reinventing pumpkins is releasing another drink for the season, a very limited Starbucks Halloween edition: the Frappula.
From October 28 to the 31st, those who love the spookiest holiday of the year in the U.S., Canada and Asia Pacific can get this special edition Starbucks Halloween treat, which not only has a name inspired by the greatest vampire of all time, Dracula, but also looks as if Bram Stoker's creation had taken a bite from the drink with his bloody fangs.
According to CNBC, the first-ever Starbucks Halloween Frappuccino was launched last year, the green tea Franken Frapuccino, honoring the classic monster - now, it's time for the Lord of the Night to provide fans with a deliciously bloody treat.
As specified on the company's website, the new Starbucks Halloween drink is made from "white chocolate sauce, milk and ice blended together then layered between mocha sauce and a dollop of whipped cream," and, to spook it up a bit, on top it features raspberry syrup to mock blood falling down the drink.
Delicious and terrifying!
CNN Money reports that this new Starbucks Halloween drink is the latest in a string of fall-themed ones, including the September release of its Toasted Graham Latte to accompany its PSL classic.
Besides the U.S., the new Halloween-themed drink will be available in select countries in the Asia-Pacific region such as Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand and Taiwan, as well as Australia and New Zealand - and Canada will get the vampire-stung drink for one extra day, until November 1st.
However, Starbucks fans in other regions can have an equivalent to the Frappula, the Vampire Frappuccino, which will be available in participant stores in the U.K., continental Europe and Costa Rica, Guatemala, El Salvador and Panama - so don't forget to get your Starbucks Halloween groove on this week!
