Ed Sheeran hosted the 2015 MTV European Music Awards with Ruby Rose from "Orange Is The New Black" on October 25, and while most people accused him of being drunk, it sure made the event worth watching.
Viewers' attention was on point Sunday night, especially as Ed repeatedly made fun of drinking throughout, reported The Mirror.
The jokes surrounded on gin and sobering up. The 24-year-old was also seen holding a drink during some parts of the evening.
Probably the best indication that Ed Sheeran was drunk was the unusual crass and sense of humor he exhibited that night, as opposed to his usual soft-spoken ways.
At one point, Ed invited Ruby Rose of playing "hide the banana" during one of their banters, after which he uninhibitedly complimented the actress saying "That's a beautiful p***y" as she joked being born a kitten.
Sheeran also nearly fell over as he fired a glitter cannon.

When making a plug about the new Tori Kelly album which he's involved in, he said, "Promo promo promo, buy that s***!"
Certainly, the drunk Ed Sheeran was much more fun to see than the regular singer, and The Guardian agrees to it. However, the publication also acknowledged the fact that the singer made a cringe-worthy joke while conversing with blind singer Andrea Bocelli.
"Nice to-um-see you," the "Photograph" singer said.
By the end of the night, both hosts collapsed on a sofa and complimented each other. Rose didn't hesitate to tell a drunk Ed Sheeran, "I think you're drunk," to which he agreed. Rose later fed him pasta to sober him down.
On twitter, fans couldn't be stopped sharing their mirth.

Ed also made a powerful performance despite the drunkenness, and he was later awarded with "best live act" and the "best world stage." Showing how inebriated he is, the EMA host said nonchalantly, "Wow. I don't even know if this was voted for or not, but thank you if you voted," while accepting the awards.
The biggest winner at the 2015 EMAs though was Justin Bieber. The 21-year-old Canadian crooner won five awards including "best male" and "best worldwide act: North America," according to The Independent.
With that said, Sheeran also announced recently that a new version of his debut album, is set for release. The new album called "x - Wembley Edition" will feature three new songs and a collaboration with Rudimental called, "Lay It All on Me (feat. Ed Sheeran)."
The new album is now available for pre-order and will be released on Friday, November 13, according to The Inquisitr.
