Adam Levine, Pharrell Williams, Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani continued to make tough eliminations on the Oct. 26 episode of "The Voice."
HollywoodLife.com shared that the artists were all paired against someone else from their own team and had to sing a song of their own choice in hopes of impressing their coach enough to be chosen to move onto the Live shows.
Pop star Rihanna served as a guest advisor on the latest episode. As a matter of act, the ex-girlfriend of Chris Brown was so helpful to all four coaches in preparing their team members for the live performances. Riri also gave advice on stage, appearance and made suggestions for the artists musically.
Adam stole Andi and Alex, who took on Blaine Mitchell, from Blake's team in the Battle Round. Blaine gave it all in his rendition of James Bay's "Hold Back The River," but the gorgeous twins nailed and totally slayed their chill-inducing performance of Keith Urban's "Stupid Boy."
Gwen chose Ellie Lawrence to go against the season's youngest competitor Braiden Sunshine for her first match. Ellie had a lot to live up when she chose to sing Demi Lovato's "Cool For Summer," while Braiden opted to sing Michael Buble's "Feeling Good." In the end, the "No Doubt" songstress chose Braiden after being torn between two amazing singers!
Pharrell paired Madi David and Amy Vachal for his first knockout match-up. Amy chose to sing Etta James' "Sunday Kind Of Love," while Madi sang Joni Mitchell's "A Case Of You." In the end, the "Happy" hitmaker chose to keep Madi.
Team Blake went voice-to-voice with Barrett Baber and Blind Joe. In the end, Blake picked Barett who sang Zav Browm BAND'S "Cold Weather" over Blind Joe who performed the song "Don't Let Your Babies Grow Up To Be Cowboys."
"Blake decided to pit the two contestants he stole in the Battle Rounds, Chance Pena and Ivonne Acero, against each other next," HollywoodLife.com reported. "Chance sang Imagine Dragons' "Demons," while Ivonne belted out "Part Of Me" by Katy Perry, and both singers were totally incredible. The country superstar chose Ivonne as the winner, meaning that Chance's time on the show has sadly come to an end." Read more about the latest episode of "The Voice" here.
