Justin Bieber has blown everyone away with his new music, so of course his live performances are just as mind-blowing. But when the 21-year-old took the EMA stage at Milan’s Mediolanum Forum on October 25 to perform his hit song, “What Do You Mean,” he practically outdid himself!
Justin gave a flawless performance for his fans tonight at the MTV European Music Awards , managing to keep his emotions in check this time round as he wowed the crowd.
Throwing some of his world famous dance moves in, the star was pitch perfect from start to finish and had the crowd on their feet throughout.
While Justin’s vocals were completely on point, so was his dancing. He owned the stage, backed by sexy dancers and a crazy light show — plus a firework ending.
As if his vocals and moves weren’t enough, Justin looked totally hot. Not everyone can pull off monochrome outfits, but the Biebs completely rocked a red shirt/red pants combo.
Justin was in the running for Best Pop, Best Male, Biggest Fans, and Best Collaboration for his song “Where Are U Now” with Skrillex and Diplo. He was even pitted against Taylor Swift for Worldwide Act — and beat her out for the win! With all of those nominations, Justin knew he had to bring his A-game for this performance, and he certainly did!
The show came just minutes after he was named Best Male once again.
Justin beat out fellow stars Pharrell Williams, Kanye West, Jason Derulo and the awards show's host Ed Sheeran for the gong.
In his acceptance speech, Justin said: "Wow thank you it's been a long couple of years. I just feel like this is pretty awesome to be recognised for my music. I want to thank my fans, my mum my dad, God and everyone I love you thank you."
Just days before his performance, Justin released his latest single, “Sorry,” on October 22.
The song was co-written and produced by Skrillex and Blood Diamonds, among others, and it has the same laid-back, tropical feel that propelled "What Do You Mean?" to #1 on the Billboard charts a few weeks ago.
Justin Bieber's new album, Purpose, will drop in full on November 13.
