Apparently, Taylor Swift is not fit to be a Victoria Secret model.
The singer took the stage at the Lexington Armory in NYC on Wednesday and while the "I Knew You Were Trouble" singer may have declared herself "Best Friends Forever" with a few of the Victoria's Secret Angels, including Lily Aldridge, Erin Heatherton and Cara Delevingne, not every supermodel is singing the songbird's praises.
Model Jessica Hart, who walked the show along with the rest of the lingerie models, told Women's Wear Daily Swift would not be her first pick for performer and does think that Taylor Swift fit in with the girls on the runway.
"I think, you know what, god bless her heart. I think she's great," Hart said after the show, according to E! News. "But, I don't know, to me, she didn't fit. I don't know if I should say that. I think what you find is that for a lot of us, we've been working for 14, 15 years; what it takes to make it here comes from experience and confidence and knowing how to be confident with yourself. I think it comes with age. It's definitely the benchmark of all jobs."
Asked whether the seven-time Grammy winner could pull off being a Victoria's Secret model, the 27-year-old Australian beauty simply replied, "No." Hart's PR team has since clarified the model's comments.
"Jess was taken out of context, in what she was trying to say was that Taylor thought she didn't fit, not that Jessica thought she didn't fit," they wrote in an email.
Past performers at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show have included the edgier Rihanna and Kanye West.
