Twitter's Newest Features: Publish Embedded Tool and Polls Maker

Publish is Twitter's answer to Facebook's instant articles in the news business. Twitter users are thrilled with Twitter's newest features- the Publish embedded tool and Polls maker.

This new update comes in handy for news publishers and content creators as the company aims to put its network on top of Facebook and other rivals in the social media.

According to STGIST, a new tool called 'Publish' that generates better embeddable tweets can be used by websites and blogs as Twitter stated during the Flight Developer Conference. Creating a better presentation of tweets is its main goal. With the aid of the  Publish option, website owners and reporters can easily create a grid with direct links to Vine videos and Twitter posts. These grids can be embedded on applications. Multiple posts at once are highlighted in the new display option as stated by Twitter's senior product manager Mollie Vandor. A generated code will be used by the user in order to copy and paste on a site.

The new Twitter Polls is another new feature introduced this week. It is like other poll makers as reported by BBC. It allows the user to create poll questions with personalized answers. Twitter's product manager Todd Sherman said that voices of those participating audience will now be easily heard. Engaging with Twitter's massive audience and understanding exactly what people are thinking is its new tactic.  A poll icon appears and is clicked In the compose box of an app to see the options in creating a poll question. Voting will be anonymous.

Same as Twitter Publish, websites and news organizations can make news by asking their followers in Twitter Polls. USA Today reported that in the next few days, the Polls feature will start to roll out on Android, iOS, and desktop thru the Twitter.com website.

Currently, the network has more than 300 million active monthly users. One billion users look at Twitter content each month and a billion or more Internet users are able to see embedded tweets.
