If you have seen the final trailer for 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens,' you were probably disappointed that there was no clear look at Luke Skywalker other than the hooded figure that reaches out to R2-D2.

However, there are some speculations that there is a reason why the last Jedi couldn't be shown freely in any of the 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' posters or trailer. It's probably because Luke has finally given in to the Dark Side.

As shocking as this new theory sounds, there is one person who already knows about the possibility of Luke Skywalker going Sith. That person also happens to be 'The Force Awakens' director J.J. Abrams. And it gets better: the person who had pitched the idea of an evil Luke Skywalker was Mark Hamill himself.

According to GeekTyrant, J.J. Abrams and Mark Hamill have met ten years ago in an episode of Jon Favreau's 'Dinner For Five.' The episode, which also featured an all-star cast that includes comic book icon Stan Lee, skateboarder turned actor Jason Lee and 'Mallrats' director Kevin Smith, showed Mark Hamill responding to the idea of having his character turn to the Dark Side like Anakin Skywalker.

"I pitched that to George [Lucas]," Hamill told the table, adding that it would have been more enjoyable for him to play an Evil Luke Skywalker. "As an actor, that would be more fun to play."

Mark Hamill admitted that he thought Anakin Skywalker's son would join the Dark Side after 'The Empire Strikes Back' and it was an idea that would have given his character an amazing pivotal moment.

So what happens when Luke Skywalker goes full Sith?

"I'll have to come back, but it will be like, I'll have Han Solo in my crosshairs and I'll be about to kill him or the princess or someone that we care about," Hamill said as J.J. Abrams listened intently. "It'll be an old cornball movie, like World War II movies."

Is it possible that Mark Hamill pitched the idea again to J.J. Abrams ten years later? After all, there are already rumors that Han Solo will die in the new trilogy. Will he be murdered by Luke Skywalker?

The truth will finally be unveiled when 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' hits theaters on December 18.
