Microsoft Surface Book Competes With Other Laptops, New Device Almost Has Everything

As Microsoft's Surface Book now becomes available in the market, its competing PC manufacturers should start to be worried as the latest device has the ability to overthrow its major opponents including the Apple's Mac.

For the past years, Apple's Mac products are considered as the most dominant force in the field of laptops. However, the launching of the Surface Book earlier this month made Microsoft gain its reputation again in the field of computers.

With the launching of its first laptop, the American multinational company have intricately designed the new device that it still resembles the Original Surface Pro, only that it is scaled up to a laptop. At first glance, it can be generalized that the Surface Book is just a conventional 13-inch notebook with some enhancements in design, battery life and performance. A closer look however, will reveal that the new device is the "ultimate laptop" everyone is dreaming of.

The Surface Book is equipped with some of the most advanced technology now available in the market. From its outer design down to its interior, the new device shows that it almost has all the important features a user needs.

According to some reports, the new laptop is even faster than the Apple's MacBook Pro. As what Panos Panay of Microsoft stated, the discrete GPU and two extra processors make the Surface Book two times faster than the MacBook Pro.

Furthermore, Surface Book is almost considered as two devices in one. The screen is an Intel 6th generation Core (Skylake) touchscreen PC while its bottom is full keyboard and trackpad attached in a more innovative hinge roll backs alongside with Clipboard.

It is obvious that Microsoft's number one target is the MacBook series of Apple. However, it can be seen that the launching of Surface Book will make all other PC manufacturers worried. It seems that the newest and greatest rival of PC makers has come.
