Harry Styles Talks About Zayn Malik's Exit For The First Time, Says They've 'Grown Stronger'

It has been six months since Zayn Malik's exit from One Direction but it seems like the now-four piece band is still doing completely fine without him.

Though the boys didn't deny that their last few months without Malik were actually a lot different and somehow a little incomplete, Harry Styles speaks out on how they managed to move forward, continue the recordings and perform as a whole with one member missing.

"I think it was obviously different, the process, because there was one less of us," Styles said during his interview with the Coup de Main magazine.

He went on saying, "But at the same time, it didn't change.. In terms of the writing of the album. I think the focus over the last five years has always been the same in that we want to make the best record that we can. I think that didn't change in any way."

Styles, who has finally spoken up about the issue for the first time, revealed that their album without Malik sounds a little different without the voice that was part of it before.

"But we've very much grown stronger," he continued. "Probably through the realization that we all have the same goal for a lot of things."

As the band's upcoming hiatus comes near, One Direction has been in their best effort to reach out to their fans in any way they can. The 1D loyalists on the other hand, are still in full support for their favorite boy band and still considers Malik as part of the picture.

While some 1D fans are still hoping for Malik's return to the band in the future, the band's hiatus and their last studio album for this year are throwing that little hope down, adding that Malik is also rumored to be waiting for the band's break to boom his career as a solo artist.

Setting aside the little downside, One Direction is getting ready for the upcoming release of their new album "Made in the A.M" which is set to due on November 13, Friday.
