'Real Housewives of Orange County' Vicki Gunvalson and Brooks Ayers ended their four year relationship in August with undisclosed reason.
After months of being quiet about it, the businessman finally spoke about the recent split. In a new sneak peek of E! News, Ayers revealed that they tried to save their relationship by going through a couple's therapy in March. However, the counselling made him realized that they weren't meant to be and they both decided what seems to be the best for them.
He said, "We made the decision that we probably weren't going to be forever... Given the fact that Tamra [Judge] made the comments that she did after season 9 that this was going to be Vicki's year in the 'box' so to speak, it made me an easy target."
He also revealed to the media outlet just like his ex, Vicki, he is also currently dating and "It could be very serious. "I'm just living life with a lot less drama from that perspective," he added.
Ayers, who has been accused of faking cancer also took the chance and cleared the allegations that is currently circulating around him. "Absolutely I'm sticking by that," Ayers said, confirming his cancer battle. "Unfortunately, I wish it wasn't true. It would be a lot easier if I didn't have cancer just to be honest with you. The daily grind, the routines of reminding yourself that I'm sick and I need to do certain things and not do certain things."
Brooks' full interview will be telecast on E! News on Monday. Meanwhile, Vicki Gunvalson, who has starred on 'The Real Housewives of Orange County' since its premiere in 2006, is slated to appear on part 1 of the season 10 reunion at 9 pm on Monday, Part 2 on Oct 26 and part 3 on Nov 3, which will air on Bravo.
