After years of hard-partying and dangerous behavior, Scott Disick may have finally decided to get the help he desperately needs by entering rehab.
It’s unclear when Scott allegedly entered rehab, but a source told US Weekly on October 14 that it’s an out-patient facility that’s apparently so lax on the rules, he was seen out shopping for groceries while still in treatment.
Maybe not the best course of treatment for someone with a track record of entering and backing out of rehab repeatedly, but only Scott’s doctors know what’s best for the troubled reality star.
A source tells E! News that Scott wants to be the best dad that he can possibly be and he is aware he needs to make some changes in his life. He is said to be dedicated to getting help and is taking this decision very seriously.
E! News has also learned that Disick has no work commitments or appearances set.
Disick made the decision after receiving an ultimatum from Kourtney about being able to see their kids: Mason, 5, Penelope, 3, and Reign, 10 months.
On Tuesday, an insider told PEOPLE that the mom of three planned to seek sole custody because "she thinks he is a drunk mess."
Scott Disick and Kourtey Kardashian broke up after he was caught partying with Chloe Bartoli in Monte Carlo in July.
Disick has long struggled with alcohol addiction in the public eye. Numerous KUWTK plot lines have focused on Disick's excessive drinking and partying.
Scott's rehab shocker comes on the heels of Lamar Odom, Khloe Kardashian's ex-husband, being hospitalized after he was found unconscious.
Lamar was found unresponsive in a Nevada Brothel on October 13, and was struggling to survive a coma and prospective brain damage after reportedly overdosing on a plethora of drugs. Lamar may have suffered multiple strokes from the ordeal and doctors believe he has only a “50/50 chance for survival."
