Dakota Fanning has landed a new gig.

The "Twilight" actress will join Theo James and Richard Gere in the new indie movie "Franny". The movie is an indie drama that will find Gere playing a "philanthropist and convivial hedonist who finds renewed purpose in life when he meddles in the lives of a young married couple in a bid to relive his past," according to Deadline. 

Fanning and James will play newlyweds, Olivia and James.

"Franny" is the first feature film from director, Andrew Renzi, who developed the script at this year's Sundance Screenwriters Lab.

Fanning has been involved in films such as "Man on Fire," "War of the Worlds" and "The Secret Life of Bees." The child actress made a successful transition to young adult roles portraying Jane Volturi in The Twilight Saga.

The 19-year-old recent starred in "The Last of Robin Hood," co-starring Kevin Kline and Susan Sarandon. The movie told the story of the later years of Errol Flynn, which premiered at the 2013 Toronto Film Festival.

Newcomer, James, made his film debut in Woody Allen's "You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger." The 28-year-old actor as had a small role in "Underworld: Awakening."

James is best known for playing the ill-fated Kemal Pamuk in "Downtown Abbey." The actor is also cast as Tobias "Four" Eaton in the highly anticipated big screen adaptation of author Veronica Roth's young adults novel "Divergent," starring Shailene Woodley.
