A Utah native has declared himself McDonald's biggest fans.
Dennis Rosenlof has been eating at McDonald's 10 times per week for the last 20 years. And over the last 30 years he estimates he's eaten 12,000 Big Macs. According to KSL Utah, the 64-year-old makes multiple visits to McDonald's over the course of one week.
On Mondays he visits on his way home from flying planes. Tuesdays and Wednesdays he stops by twice. On Thursday through Saturday makes just one pitstop. However, on Sundays, he takes a day off from the Golden Arches.
"I look forward to going to McDonald's every single time," Rosenlof said.
He began eating Big Macs when he began his sales career, he said. He has been working as a salesman at R.C. Willey for most of his professional life. Despite, the frequency of his visits, Rosenlof does not believe he's addicted to fast-food.
"I don't think I'm addicted, but I do feel my body understands what's coming, when it's coming and knows what it has to make to get rid of a Big Mac,"he said. "I think that might be one reason why Big Macs and I get along so well."
Rosinlof's wife of 37 years, Lauri, is a registered nurse. She and their kids encourage him to eat healthier. According to KSL Utah, Rosenlof was 6-feet tall and 165 pounds,
Despite his Big Mac diet, Rosenlof still maintains a cholesterol level lower than 200. He said a Big Mac meal is 930 calories, so if he eats two a day that is still less than 2,000 calories and he doesn't eat much more than that.
