Sam Smith is still adjusting to fame and would like to get into a "cruise control" with it before entering into another relationship.
The 'I'm Not The Only One' singer just top the charts with his James Bond movie song, but despite the fortune and fame he revealed that he is still single following his recent split from Jonathan Zeizel. He said he is still adjusting to his newly found fame and enjoying life under the limelight. He is not rushing to get into another relationship, Indian Express reported.
''At the moment I'm trying to hang on to a relationship with me and my family and my friends," Sam Smith said. ''Once I've got into the routine of this life, which maybe I'm still trying to get into that cruise-control with, then I think maybe I can introduce a guy. I'm still very single.''
Smith also revealed that he's thankful that he never found love before hitting the spotlight. "I'm trying my best," Sam said. "There's different challenges. The blessing for me is that I didn't have a boyfriend before I got well known so I didn't know any different. If I'd been in a relationship before I got well known I think I'd be a bit more upset."
Meanwhile, Sam Smith just revealed that he is currently working on his second album, which he believes will be ready for release by next year, The List reported.
The 'Writing's On The Wall' singer said that he's planning a break from music but insisted that it will just be a short rest and he is currently working for his next album.
He said, "I'm not going away for a very long time." He also insisted that the circulating rumors that he will not release any album for a long time are all just "false" and said that he is currently doing his album, which he believes will be released by "next year or so."
